Vadim Tarasov, director of the Institute for Translation Medicine and Biotechnology, said the first batch of the volunteers on whom the vaccine was tested would be discharged from the hospital on Wednesday and the second batch on July 20.
According to Tarasov, the university began testing the vaccine on June 18, developed by Russia's Gamley Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology. The university has successfully completed testing on volunteers for the first vaccine.
