Every year about 25 million people in the country give different exams for 1.25 lakh government jobs. Many exams are conducted by these exams. But soon this system is going to change and only those who want government jobs will have to give an online exam.
This exam will be called Common Eligibility Test (CET) and its score will be valid for three years. Through this score, non-gazetted posts can be recruited. On 1 February, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made an announcement in the budget to save the time and resources of the government, recruiting agencies and candidates. In this announcement, it was proposed to set up a National Recruitment Agency (NRA) to get jobs in government and public sector banks at non-gazetted posts. This agency will conduct computer-based CET in the test centers of every district. Score will be valid for three years The CET score will be valid for the next three years from the date of declaration of the result. These scores will be provided to different recruitment agencies as well as candidates. The candidate will get two more chances to improve his score, and the best one among all the scores will be considered. According to the Times of India (TOI) report, the CRA can share the merit list of the CET with states under cost-sharing. With this, the recruitment will be done in the state government jobs. According to a government official, "The private sector can also use the CET score for recruitment under any arrangement from the NRA." Will CET come by the end of the year? According to the TOI report, a government official has stated that the CET proposal was put in the public domain in December last year. The official said, "A review was sought from all departments and the public of the central government and state governments. We will include everyone's views and issue a cabinet note soon. Hopefully the CET can come in the last 6 months of this year." . " Separate CETs can be conducted for graduate, class 12 pass and metric pass candidates for non-technical posts. Currently Recruitment Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) and Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for these posts.
