Reliance Jio phone booking have been started in certain offline stores in Delhi NCR region, according to Gadgets 360. To book the Jio Phone offline, you need to submit a copy of your Aadhaar card to the retailer. Once you submit your Aadhaar number, the same will be uploaded to the centralised software that will assign a token number that you need to produce while picking up the device. Remember that you need to pay the refundable security deposit of Rs 1,500 while picking up the Jio Phone and not while pre-booking one. The Jio Phone delivery date for those who place the order right now will be between September 1 and September 4. This delivery date is expected to swell up as the number of bookings increase over the coming week. So, it is best to pre-order the device as soon as possible to get your hands on it earlier. Ambani, at the Reliance AGM, had only mentioned September as the month of delivery, without specifying any specific date. He had also said the company aims to delivery 5 million units a week to consumers. Features of Jio Phone All the apps will be made free for the people, like Jio cinema, Jio music, with the tariff plan they have opted for. One interesting feature they are adding to the phone is NFC. With this, users will be able to make payments from a linked bank account via UPI, or through POS machines in place of a debit card. The mobile also comes with an integrated panic button. The phone also supports 22 Indian languages, and voice commands. You can send messages, place calls, search the web, and so on, using voice commands. The phone will have alphanumeric keypad, and a small 2.4-inch colour screen. Apart from the presence of a rear camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, NFC, and of course 4G VoLTE, not much is confirmed at the moment.
