New Delhi: The Center has made a big decision on the OBC reservation. The Central Government has increased the limit of Crimea's limit from 6 lakh to 8 lakh in OBC reservation. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said this.
Let me tell you that the last review for OBC reservation was done in 2013. Due to this decision of the government, most people of OBC category get reservation in jobs and recruitments.
With it, the Union Cabinet has decided to make an order to create a sub category under OBC so that the decision of reservation can be met by the need. The commission will get the report within 12 weeks of being formed.
The Finance Minister said, on this issue, in the year 2011, the National Backward Classes Class Commission recommended that such a sub category be made. The same recommendation was made by the Parliamentary Standing Committee also in the year 2012-13. It was accepted after discussions in the ministerial conference. The recommendation has been sent to the President to make an order in the OBC list to create sub category.
