In December 2015, Esha Ambani, his brother, Akash Ambani and brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan, were present during the launch of Reliance Jio in Asia's top 12 businessmen list.
Prior to this, a report from the leading media said that Reliance Geo's home broadband services could be launched around Diwali. Even after the launch of GeoFiber like Reliance Geo Infocomm, the price band could be broken.
This year is Diwali on October 19th. The biggest base pack of geo fiber can be 500 rupees, in which 100 GB data will be available. Other companies are currently giving half of their data at this double price. The number of home broadband customers in the country is much lower. In India, there are only 20 million broadband users, 50 per cent of which is owned by the government company BSNL.
Reliance Geo's goal has reached its target of 100 major cities by the end of this year. In Reliance's annual general meeting in July, Ambani said that the company is working fast on high speed broadband network. Broadband service for Geo can be a great tool for earning.
